Privacy policy

How we collect, use and look after your personal information.

Last updated: October 2026.

Who we are

Synergy Electrical, 14 Swan Bank, Penn, Wolverhampton, WV4 5QE ("we", "us") is responsible for the personal information you give us. Contact us at info@synergy-electrical.com or 01902 544323.

What we collect

When you contact us by phone, email or our enquiry form, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, phone number, email address, postcode and details of the work you need. When you become a customer, we also keep records of the work carried out, certificates issued and invoices.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide estimates.
  • To carry out, certify and guarantee work for you.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and accounting obligations, including Building Regulations notifications through our registration scheme.

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in running our business.

Sharing

We don't sell your information. We share it only where necessary — for example with our registration scheme and local building control for notifiable work, with our accountants, and with service providers who host our website and forms on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Customer and certification records are kept for as long as needed to support guarantees and meet legal requirements.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work. If we add website analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
