Electric showers
An electric shower needs its own dedicated circuit, sized correctly for the shower's power rating, with RCD protection and a suitable isolating switch. If you're upgrading to a more powerful shower, the existing cable and protective device may not be big enough — we'll check before you buy, so there are no surprises.
- New electric shower installations
- Like-for-like shower replacements
- Upgrading cables and circuits for higher-rated showers
- Pull-cord isolators and shower circuit protection
Kitchen electrics
A kitchen refit is the ideal time to put the power where you need it. We work alongside your kitchen fitter to install:
- Cooker and induction hob circuits
- Sockets above worktops, in islands and for integrated appliances
- Appliance isolation switches and fused spurs
- Under-cabinet, plinth and ceiling lighting
- Extractor hood connections
Bathroom electrics
Bathrooms are special locations under BS 7671. Lights, fans, heated towel rails and shaver sockets must be suitable for the zone they're installed in, and much bathroom electrical work is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations. As a registered contractor, we handle the certification for you.
Electric heating installation
We install and connect electric heating including panel heaters, storage heaters, heated towel rails and electric underfloor heating — ideal for extensions, conservatories, bathrooms and properties without gas.
Ventilation and extraction
Good ventilation prevents condensation, mould and damp. We supply and fit bathroom and kitchen extractor fans — with timers, humidistats or continuous-running options — as well as ventilation and extraction solutions for commercial premises.
Frequently asked questions
Can I replace my electric shower with a more powerful one?
Sometimes. A higher kW shower draws more current, so the cable and circuit protection must be able to handle it. We'll check your existing circuit and advise before you buy.
Is bathroom electrical work notifiable?
Much of it is. Under Part P, new circuits and work within the zones of a room containing a bath or shower are generally notifiable. As a registered contractor, we self-certify the work and you receive the compliance certificate.
Do you work with kitchen fitters and builders?
Yes. We regularly work alongside kitchen and bathroom fitters, plumbers and builders, coordinating first and second fix so the project runs smoothly.
